I think my faves are Chacha, Jezebel and all the sausage dogs…

Went to kr+ yesterday and got myself a very short haircut after such a long time of having longer hair (I say longer hair because my colleagues still insist that my hair before was considered short even though it’s one of the longest hair lengths I ever had in my life).

My stylist was Vincent Soh. Quite a few people recommended him from flowerpod. He’s not bad (looks nice in his current hairstyle than the photo on the kr+ website), likes to give lotsa hair advice on how to style, take care of your hair, etc. But I found him a little naggy though…

So far, the critique from the people who met me yesterday and today and also uncle cat, whom I sent a photo which Gen took of me today, have been quite positive… I quite like the cut myself (I really save a lot of shampoo & conditioner and it dries really fast!), somehow it really makes me feel like I look more alike to Horikita Maki now (as ting ting pointed out the resemblance a few weeks back). I just wish I know how to style it properly… even uncle cat said that it would look nicer if I style it.

Well… I will face the press (nosy colleagues) tomorrow…

Juz-B’s performance at Esplanade Recital Studio was smoking hot last night!

They started the show off with a video clip introducing the members of the band and also the story of how they came together and formed the band. First up was (obviously) Maroon 5’s “This Love”. They really have mad mad vocal skills. Overall the group’s got a very solid and whole sound. The basses are totally vibrating the floorboards and the 2 lead singers are great with Afwan having a more pop voice while Dee (I think) having a higher and soulful voice.

And it’s great that they do a bit of dancing too, like so boyband

I totally love their rendition of a mashed up remix of stand by me, beautiful girl and chasing cars; 童话 and FOREVER LOVE (which they sang as they closed the show).

Would love to see them again… =)

I wonder where akatones went… =/

On another note, I was watching last night’s American Idol results show on tape and wow… it really pains my heart to see Alaina just break down on stage, saying twice that she just can’t sing because she’d sound terrible. When Ryan called Kady and Alaina on stage, Kady was totally prepared for Ryan to just tell her she’s off the show. But when he said she was safe… Alaina just immediately started brawling on stage… so poor thing. She’s not bad (though her voice has always felt more like a more powerful version of Jessica Simpson’s voice to me).
